What is a Housing Co-op?
A Housing Co-op is formed by a group of people working together to build a community, while enjoying secure, at-cost housing for their members. Unlike rental housing, a Co-op is jointly owned and managed by its Members. There is no landlord. In order to become a Member, it is necessary to purchase a share in the not-for-profit organization.

Your Voice Matters
Housing Co-ops are governed by their Members. As a Member, you have a say in the way your housing co-operative is operated. Members assist in the operation of the co-op by joining committees (ie. maintenance, membership, social, etc) and annually electing a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors, in collaboration with COHO management company, act in the best interest of the Membership to maintain daily co-op operations.
